Recent Changes to this Site

Though this site originated in June of 2001, I have only begun to capture a log of the changes on this page as of May 1, 2002.

October 11, 2003 - I have added a number of papers, including one written by Lisa Vandegrift, a M.S. student, under my supervision on the subject of Pre-Control.

September 1, 2003 - I have added material from a course I taught on the subject of Process Redesign: Reengineering and Six Sigma, for MBA students at the China European International Business School in August 2003.

July 22, 2002 - I have added extensively to the materials on our offering of Six Sigma Training and Mentoring for the Semiconductor Industry. You will also find information regarding advanced Six Sigma training at the same link.

July 17, 2002 - I have added a paper written by Eric McCollom under my supervision, on the subject of use of product response profiles and other lean tools with long lead time supplied items. This paper features the substance of several interviews from companies who have long lead time items and are well into their use of lean methods.

July 17, 2002 - I have added a paper written by Kristin Marshall under my supervision, on the subject of the relationship of Lean to ISO standards. This paper features the substance of several interviews from companies which have significant efforts in both Lean and ISO Registration.

July 17, 2002 - I have added a research paper on Lean and Ecommerce - a presentation I have given several times.

July 17, 2002 - I have added a M.S. student research project on subgrouping: A Four-Headed Filling Machine, written by Scott Ayers under my supervision.

June 22, 2002 - I have spruced up the site a lot, and have added to the section on "Courses I have Taught."

June 16, 2002 - More changes - I have added more papers in the "Rants section." Also, I have added a link to the WWW site for the 2003 Conference of the Making Statistics More Effective in Schools and Business.

May 1, 2002 - Still more updates to the Technical Program for MSMESB 2002, to be held June 6 -8, 2002 in Athens, Georgia.

May 1, 2002 - Made major changes and updates to the section for the "From Consultant to Leader" section of the site. This section discusses the leadership initiatives currently underway, and the leadership workshops for statisticians.
